The same message can be read
from God’s Word but with two very different results. Hebrews 4:2 - For we
also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message
they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of
those who obeyed.
God’s Word is powerful but it
has to be accepted by faith in order to change you in to the person God desires
for you to be. I love this statement from Rick Warren, The Bible can keep
you from sin, but sin can keep you from the Bible.
It is so true! The only verse
in the Bible that promises prosperity and success is Joshua 1:8 - Keep this
Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you
may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and
successful.
Do you what is necessary?
Knowing and obeying God’s Word! It takes time and dedication but the rewards
are out of this world.
