Hard Answers

Today we will start to answer the God Question, If God is so good, why is there so much bad in the world? There are two things that we must wrap our minds around:

 

1.      Some of the harsh things in this world are initiated by a God who is enforcing justice. Will not the Judge of all the earth do right? Genesis 18:25

What attributes would you give to a “good” judge?

 One attribute would have to be that he applies justice. Part of justice is punishment for breaking the law.

2. God does not violate the law of the harvest. Our choices have consequences. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Galatians 6:7

 

"Sin will not only "eat you up", but you will get what you deserve if you are treated fairly. Another way to put it is, "Don't be surprised if you sleep with the dogs that you wake up with fleas!"

 

Yes we all reap what we sow.
