There is great movie line that says stupid is as stupid does. I see this acted out almost every day. People can't seem to stop making fools out of themselves. You think we would have "wised up" by now. I have a friend who sums up this part of our human condition with, You can't teach common sense and you can't fix stupid!
We see in the Bible where Jesus asks his disciples why were they so dense? Again it is a case of being our own worst enemy. It doesn't have to be that way. All the knowledge, direction, and wisdom of God are available to us through the Holy Spirit and God's Word.
Do you know the Bible? Are you plugged in to the Jesus?
It will help your common sense and it certainly can cure foolishness.
